not only do i get muted randomly for saying oops, he plays a smartass, then kicks me (or temp ban w/e) for being one in return, with a ' suck my dick '.
I thought there was screening for age or something.
Oh well some people never grow up.

I never know who is whom half the time, because they play under fake names. If you think someone is singling you out, send them a PM and ask what the problem is(in a nice way). Maybe sit out the rest of the map and give them a chance to settle down, and follow it up with a "are we cool?" after the round. I try not to trade insults with people, because it could be the guy that gives you the perma-ban. Better to be safe, than sorry. You could also try changing to the other team.

I try to not take any of it personally. I know I am not all that great. I have goon moments and bad ones, and that aggravates some. I just try to focus on the fact it is a game, and we are all here to have fun. Try to not take any of it too seriously. I know it is easy to say, but still I do my best to follow that train of thought.

Maybe calling him a prick for singling me out and throwing around his admin wand was one too many, but dont be an asshole to others if your not willing to take anything in return, doesnt show much maturity flaunting your ' power ' around.

What is considered spamming? I have a key bind for "Incoming!" when I need to warn people. I do use it a lot, but I am trying to cut back. When I'm near the objective and by myself, I start pressing the Incoming to let people know there is trouble when I get capped, or there is a group heading through.

I think if I were in your shoes Polak I would just lie low for a while and not piss anyone off....that is if you want to stay in this clan. Just a bit of advise form this old fart...don't get in a fight you can't win.....then bring it to the forums and complain about one of the people who started this clan.....what did you think we were gonna do take your side of this???? I think the key thing to remember is, a game server is not a democracy. It should not be treated as such. Not everyone is treated equally, thankfully. Why you were repeatedly saying oops is probably the annoyance, rather than saying it. The vast majority of admins here show a great deal of restraint, especially with players who have played on the server frequently. The post over a temporary ban for calling an admin a prick seems to, again, be the improper way to deal with it. Remember, there's a difference between respecting someone, and showing them respect. Ignoring the first causes no harm, but disregard the second, and your mileage may vary.
